Solar Energy Structure is an international renewable-energy project developer headquartered in Madrid, with a branch office in the Natal metropolitan area of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. We originate, develop and structure projects for proprietary ownership, joint venture, co-development and sale.
Our origins
SES was established in 2020 by professionals whose work in renewable energy began approximately fifteen years earlier. Before forming SES, key founding professionals operated a Madrid-based legal and advisory practice serving clients across the renewable-energy sector.
The decision to establish SES reflected a natural progression from advising projects to taking direct responsibility for origination, development, structuring and execution. That legal and advisory discipline remains part of the company’s operating foundation.
Our team model
SES is built around multidisciplinary in-house capability. Our professionals bring more than twenty years of experience from Tier 1 law firms, engineering businesses, audit and advisory firms, investment banks and related financial institutions.
This combination allows technical, financial, legal and commercial questions to be considered together. It also enables SES to manage specialist external advisers effectively while retaining informed control of the project and its critical decisions.
